please support us ~ wear a paper bag !

ABOUT FACE BAGGING:
Hello. Society theese days have made it socially unacceptable to wear a paper bag on your head in public. This website is here to change that, and with your support, one day the nation will never have to worry about bad hair days, or any insecurities you may have while you take a simple trip to the grocery store or video shop, the answer is simple; help us make 'face bagging' socially accepted. :)
.
.
WHAT IS FACE BAGGING?:
You may have seen 'Face bagging' on television, or cartoons, even on celebrities!
Chances are you may not of heard about facebagging before now, but the trend is slowly becoming an integral part of our culture, to prepare you for this I will provide you of a brief history of facebagging.
Paper bags have been around for over 200 centuries, yet everyday people like you and me waste opportunities to place them on our heads and what you may not have realised is the toll it paying on your mental health.
Suppose you woke up and felt hideous, you are hungover and you have a cold, yet you desperately need aspirin. You walk to your local grocery store only to see your ex coming out, you have only seconds to hide, without a facebag handy this situation would be a disaster.
Although this situation is obscure, every week dozens of similar occasions occur, facebagging provides the opportunity for you to be anonymous in potentially embarrassing situations (like buying humiliating items, being with embarrassing family and/or friends.)
.
Types of facebagging:
Regular facebagging- wearing a paper bag over your head, to hide your face. The bag may also contain holes so you can see.
Non-consensual face bagging- when a victim is facebagged against there will this is recognised as a criminal offence.
Body bagging- the torso equivalent of facebagging, usually occurs using a cardboard box as an apparatus.
.
Yes, facebagging is an easy and pain free way to avoid awkward situations but it cannot become socially acceptable without YOUR help, follow this blog, or actively show your support by wearing a facebag (or posting the support facebagging badge in your profile, office or even at school)

ABOUT US:
I have came up with the idea of trying to make 'face bagging' socially acceptable, because i hired an overnight DVD that must be returned by 6.00pm. I am quite a lazy person, and the thought of having to return that DVD's is horrific, because it involves me having to get dressed, put on makeup, do my hair, all to go down the street to return a single DVD. The slight chance of running into someone i know would be dreadful, i could not begin to imagine the embarrasment of having them see me with my hair a mess and in my PJ's. I considered wearing a paper bag over my head, but as you know, it is not socially accepted and i would gather many strange looks from people. I just think, life would be so much easier if it was socially acceptable to wear a paper bag over our heads. So hopefully, with your support, we can make the change, and make society a better place. :)

HOW YOU CAN SUPPORT FACE BAGGING:
Its very easy, if you can simply wear a paper bag on your head next time you go down to the grocery store for a carton of milk, or any other simple reason. Every bag counts ! The more people who start, the more acceptable it will be. Yes it will start off small, but if we all work together, soon it will be accepted and the aim of this website will be acheived. Sure, it might be embarrasing at first, but hey, they will never know who you are ! If you aren't ready to wear a paper bag on your head yet, you can still help by copying our picture above and putting it around the internet, or perhaps even printing it out and handing it out in peoples letter boxes! Use your imagination! :) Paper bags are eco-friendly, too ! So tell your friends and family, and make the difference.

  2. Oh my freaking gosh!!! This is amazing! I wish everyone would facebag. Then people wouldn't judge you for what you look like. They would judge you for your true personality and what is on the inside. I love you so much!!!!! Society is obsessed with appearances.
